Paul, you have been a brother to me for more than half my life and I am richer for having you there. We’ve all been through a lot in our lives but having you there and learning from you daily has made me a better person and I thank you for that. In a world where they say nothing is for certain I know that you will always be my friend and sometimes during hard times that is all the certainty I need.
When you leave the Peg once more to pursue your career in Thunder Bay I will truly miss you and your family. It’s no England but it’s bloody far. You are an amazing person and opportunity is drawn to you just as I am. I will always envy you in so many ways and wish you good luck in everything you do. The team will miss you at roller hockey this year but me especially seeing as it is the one venue they have no choice but to let us play together on the same team! So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY friend, and may all your candles go out.
